Bird Feeding
What do Birds Eat?
Birds can be finicky eaters too, and the Wild Bird Feeding Institute is taking a look at what feeders birds use and what types of seeds and nuts they prefer. PROJECT WILDBIRD is a landmark study of seed and feeder preferences of wild birds in the United States and Canada. The study has two components, the Experimental Approach and the Observational Approach. Both approaches depend on observers who record the activities of birds at their home and the uses of feeders. Results of their observations are already available at http://www.wbfi.org/qsp.htm.
