and birds' vital role in the environment. Learn how the
pros share their work at banding stations and find tips
to use in your efforts.

| Tri For Your Cause |

Environment for the Americas staff member,
Emily Molter, is participating in the Tri For
Your Cause triathlon on May 4, 2008 in
Boulder, CO. The event allows participants
to raise money for a nonprofit organization
of their choice. Emily is donating funds to
help with the Spanish translation of this
newsletter, making outreach in Latin America
more effective. Emily will swim 500 meters,
bike 17 miles and run 3.1 miles. Be a sponsor!

Partners in Flight Conference a Success! |

The Partners in Flight Conference was a
success for Environment for the Americas.
Celeste Brancel (featured above) of Texas
Parks & Wildlife won the 2008 art; $3,410 was
raised for La Tangara; and 100+people
attended the EFTA/National Audubon Society
education reception.
