This activity from the Illinios Department of Natural Resources introduces students to bird courtship and mating displays by participating in a fun activity that allows the students to make up their own displays.

The following activity was submitted by Heather Durham of Nederland Colorado. Heather has been involved in environmental education in various settings for over 10 years. This activity was part of a bird field study lesson at an outdoor education center, but would be applicable to a classroom setting as well. (Download the related PDF file.)
