  • Conservation Education at the Partners in Flight Conference

The 4th International Partners in Flight Conference is rapidly approaching. On February 12th, the Bird Education Alliance for Conservation (BEAC) will be hosting a full-day meeting to discuss current projects. That evening, all conference attendees are invited to attend a reception with brief presentations and information about education programs.

Last Chance to Win 2008 Original Art

With a minimum donation of just $5, your name will be entered to win the 2008 International Migratory Bird Day art. The drawing will be held on February 16, 2008 at the IV International Partners in Flight Conference in McAllen, Texas. Contributors need not be present to win.

Connecting People to Nature Through Birding

National Conservation Training Center is hosting its annual training for educators interested in introducing audiences to birds. In this 4-day course, participants explore tried and true bird-focused activities and how to teach the basics of bird identification. This is not a bird i.d. course, but plan to spend time in the field and classroom.

    A Bird's Journey

Try this cute puppet show for your upcoming IMBD program or education event. The information is perfect for younger participants and explores bird migrations and an important habitat..the Boreal Forest. You may also change the script to reflect a habitat in your area.
